Tyler Friesen

Tyler began his residential design and drafting career in 2010. He was trained by local BC architects to oversee the design and drafting of dozens of residential projects, including luxury homes, townhomes, and massive master-planned condo developments. Tyler held a Project Management position in a large architectural firm before founding Old Clayburn Design.
Tyler's familiarity with both traditional and contemporary design principles allow for broad vision. His pragmatism combined with building code and bylaw proficiency help avoid issues right from project start. He works collaboratively with his clients to achieve an appealing, contextual result.
Using the latest 3D software, Tyler can walk you through your new home before it is built, allowing you to see everything in scale. However, every project starts with pencil and paper. By wholly embracing both digital and analogue tools, Tyler ensures software limitations do not dampen creativity, and design integrity is intact from start to finish.
Tyler and his wife, Laura, along with their four children reside in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
